Many possibilities: This could be carpal tunnel syndrome, or another form of arthritis associated with psoriasis or other diseases, or could even be early rheumatoid arthritis. Ask your doctor for help with diagnosis and consider physical therapy if prescribed.

Osteoarthritis. : Appears to be osteoarthritis. Get x-ray to confirm diagnosis. If there is no contraindication then you should start on an NSAID (motrin., aleve). If you have high blood pressure then ask your doctor for voltaren (diclofenac) gel to apply to the finger 2x/day. Good luck.
