It's like acne...: It's exactly like regular acne, except blackheads are uncommon, and of course it is in a baby, under 6 months usually. There is actually another baby rash called "erythema toxicum" that looks a lot like acne, but since neither one needs any treatment and both go away on their own, the difference is not at all important.

None: The acne doesn't bother the baby at all, and causes no symptoms. Acne in babies looks like acne in teenagers, with little bumps and blackheads.

Pimples on face: Baby acne is similar in appearance to adult acne. Pimples (closed comedones) on the face in infants are pretty common and often do not need treatment. They usually go away within a few weeks to a month or two. If they seem to be getting worse, let your pediatrician know.
