Why is donor in-vitro considered adoption?

Not al All: Actually it is really not considered option and not all all like adoption. First the male partner (assuming male female partners) is a genetic father. Second, you still carry the pregnancy. Third you can breast feed and take care of the child from the first moment. Also legally you are always the birth mother and it is your decision whether to disclose your treatment to anyone.
