Depends...: That depends what they are donating; surgical procedures would obviously require hospital stay for a few days. Check with your physician to get all the specifics.

Please specify : The expected length of stay really depends on the procedure required for donation. (what is being donated) blood donors can go back to work immediately, a kidney donor might be down a week or more.
