A member asked:

Can an mri cause bleeding?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Basically NO..: This gets to the subject of MRI safety. There is a whole website dedicated to the subject (www.Mrisafety.Com). One scenario that occurs is that of the patient with a recently placed stent or other vascular device. Your radiologist can use this site to clear a device before you have a scan. If you've never had anything metal put inside of you, MRI scan cannot cause bleeding.
