can an eyelash cause bad eye irritation?

Dr. Joseph Fishkin

Yes: An eyelash can grow inward and poke you in the eye when you blink, which can cause irritation. Additionally, an eyelash can come loose and float around on the surface of your eye, which can cause irritation as well.
