A member asked:

Why do some people say they feel no pain in labor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Labor pain: It is because some people actually do not feel pain. Pain is very subjective. You have it if you think you have it. You are also likely to have it if you know that everyone else thinks you will have pain during labor. But there are a substantial number of women who can so tune into the natural, optimistic, exciting associations connected with labor that they do not tune into any pain sensations.
