Warmth = Inflamation: Usually a spider bite will be inflamed due to inflamation of the surrounding tissues or possibly infection. See your doctor to have it evaluated.

Depends: This depends on the type of spider that bit the patient, but many will be warm to the touch along with presenting redness and swelling.
