Need diagnosis...: Coughing blood, called hemoptysis, is a serious symptom that always needs to be evaluated by a doctor. The most common cause is bronchitis but malignancy must be ruled out. There are other serious disorders that result in hemoptysis so see your doctor asap so the proper diagnosis can be made and treatment rendered.
