Afrin (oxymetazoline): The best medicines are antihistamines like claritin, zyrtec or allegra. Sudafed is also ok over the counter. Prescription nasal sprays like flonase, nasonexnasonex or patanase are fine too. But afrin has significant side effects and i don't recommend it to any patients.
