Can wax and wane: Dry eye symptoms can come and go depending on your environment (dry versus humid, warm versus cold, windy versus calm, clean air versus dusty/smokey) and your activity (reading and heavy computer use slow blink rate and typically make symptoms worse). Season and time of day can make a difference as well.

Dry eye: Dry eye can be chronic or acute (depending on cause). Clogged meibomian glands (mgd)& blepharitis is most common which can be chronic. Role of underlying inflammation, autoimmune disease, humidity & environment affect severity and frequency of symptoms. More info: eyedoc2020.Com.
