Is it high risk to try and get pregnant at the age of 38?

AMA: In many ways, the risk category of pregnancy has a lot to do with how healthy the woman is at the time of conception. Yes, the older you are, the greater your chances are of having a chronic medical condition. And age does increase your risk of chromosomal abnormalities. But if you (and your partner) are leading healthy lifestyles and pregnancy is something you desire, go for it.
