A member asked:

Why must a person with hepatic impairment use caution using drugs?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Liver function: One of the things that liver cells do is to either detoxify, inactivate or prepare drugs for excretion. When the liver is damaged the drug concentrations must be adjusted to compensate.
