Start with a visit: To a local podiatrist to have the toe x-rayed. That's how to determine if a) there is indeed a fracture and b) if the fracture is aligned properly. PRICE : Recommend seeing a doctor to get x-rays. Fracture toes can take 4-6 weeks to heal. In the meantime. Price. Protect via immobilization, buddy splint the toe to the next toe and wear hard sole shoe that doesn’t allow the toes to bend. Rest, especially at night. Ice at night 20 minutes but no direct contact. Compress via immobilization to minimize swelling. Elevate during the day to minimize swellng.
