Mucosal bleeding: You may be experiencing the effects of platelet inhibition, most often caused by aspirin, but also by other non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (nsaids) such as ibuprofen, motrin, advil, alleve, etc. There is also the possibility that you have abnormal clotting factors due to another condition that affects the blood products of the bone marrow. It could also be true, true and unrelated.
