A member asked:

When i get an allergy test, will they need to draw blood?

Possibly: Many allergies can be tested by placing small drops of possible allergens on your skin with a small scratch to see if you are sensitive to these allergens. This does not involve drawing blood. Sometimes, though, a blood test will allow us to follow those sensitivities over time and to help determine whether you will react during a food challenge and when the allergy may have resolved.

Maybe not: It depends what allergies are bring considered. Sometimes we do both as a confirmation. Or just a blood test first if the reaction you had was severe.
