Concerta is ritalin (methylphenidate): Concerta is a once a day long acting form of ritalin (methylphenidate). In general the equivalent strength of Ritalin (methylphenidate) to adderal is 2:1. So 10mg of Ritalin (methylphenidate) is about equivalent to 5mg of adderall. So 36mg of Concerta is about equal to 15mg of Adderall xr. Once you use this ratio it is not a question of weaker of stronger. The maximum daily recomended dose of Ritalin (methylphenidate) is 60mg and for Adderall it is 30mg.
