How long does it take before someone builds a tolerance to concerta and adderral?

Body Dependent. : Like any other medications, tolerance is dependent on how the physiology of your body reacts to the medications. Every person has a different tolerance level.

Varies : Some people need ever increasing doses of these medications others don't. This doesn't necessarily mean there is tolerance. It may be that cortical accommodation is occurring. Bipolar patients with comorbid adhd often need ever increasing doses of stimulants to get control of their adhd symptoms. The standing rule of thumb is that true adhd patients don't develop tolerance to adhd medications.
