Psoriasis treatments: How psoriasis is treated depends on how severe the psoriasis is. For mild localized disease, topical medications are most often used. For more extensive psoriasis, treatments with uv light can help. If the disease is widespread or difficult to control, internal medications such as Methotrexate or injections of biologics can help.
