What is the treatment for a suspected severe head trauma?

Head trauma: In the er patient is quickly assessed, stabilized with regards to blood pressure, pulse rate, blood transfusion if blood needed- most important airway maintainance. After stabilization the patient is sent to radiology for necessary ct scans. Meanwhile a neurosurgeon is called if available.
