Antiviral: Antivirals are best taken right when u feel the herpes blister (most often the cause of mouth/lip cold sore). Otherwise otc abreva is pretty good.

Bacitracin: If it is just a traumatic wound then the best treatment is keep it clean and well coated with Bacitracin ointment. If it is actually a "cold sore" then you probably need an anti-viral medication as well.

I had a skin color/ translucent small bump on top lip skin it was full of water liquid. It dried and disappeared in 12 hours and was gone by the next day this happened twice is this a cold sore. Or something else from licking lips ,dryness or biting?
