Not necessarily: If the mattress is 15 years old, you should probably consider getting a new mattress to help your back...However, dust mite treatment does not necessarily involve getting a new mattress. I would recommend dust mite covers for your mattress, box springs and pillows. Also, you should wash your sheets/pillow cases/blankets on hot water (>130 f) on a weekly basis.
