Pick a good surgeon: Discuss with your surgeon what you want to accomplish with surgery and what your concerns are. If you find a surgeon who is board certified in plastic surgery, has good experience with facelift, and you trust them after meeting them, then your facelift can accomplish the natural results you are looking for.

Yes: The goals of surgery should be clearly mapped out prior to intervention. Natural, non-pulled results are what we shoot for in all cases.

Yes: The best compliment that a plastic surgeon can have from a happy facelift patient: "it looks so natural no one knows why i look so good!" achieving this mark of satisfaction requires meticulous attention to incision placement and closure, maintaining normal ear lobe position and facial symmetry as well as moving the tissues in the proper vectors to avoid an overdone appearance...

Definitely: Modern facelift surgery usually does look quite natural. In the past, facelift usually meant pulling the skin tight. That lead to a stretched or "windblown" look that was not natural. Contemporary facelift involves tightening and lifting the deeper structures in the face and neck rather than pulling the skin tight. This not only lasts longer but it is safer and also much more natural looking.

Yes: A number of surgeons perform facelifts that look very natural. Taking care to design well-concealed incisions that respect the hair line, and pulling a judicious amount in the appropriate vector ensure a natural and not "wind swept" "overdone" or "category v hurricane" look.

YES!: To look naturally beautiful is easy providing that you seek good council from a thoughtful and discerning cosmetic physician that understands the human form and the underpinnings of the aging process. Insist on a thorough explanation of the procedure, the rationale behind the proposed treatment and ask to see examples of the physician's work. Explain that your goal is to look "rested", not "done".

Natural facelift: Yes, a well done facelift turns back the clock 10-15 years. Most people just notice the bad looking facelifts because they are obvious. The good facelifts are not obvious at all. Best regards, nima shemirani.

Always: A facelift that is performed by a plastic surgeon with good training experience and judgement should always look natural. Many non plastic surgeons perform facelifts these days and they are mostly "mini-lifts" which offer no support and create unnatural vectors in the face. These always need to be revised with a true facelift in order to look natural.

Natural facelift : A natural appearing facelift is key. The scars are well hidden and the face and neck will have a smoother and toned appearance. Natural looking surgery is more difficult and time consuming to perform but well worth it.
