Pramoxine: Over the counter creams with pramoxine can be quite helpful for itching. Some examples of this are sarna or eucerin calming cream which also has menthol for cooling of the skin which helps with itch. If this is not enough there are prescription creams with both topical steroids and anti-itch medicines. Another anti-itch cream (by prescription) is topical doxepin. See your doctor.
