A member asked:

What does a burning sensation in my thighs mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Burning thighs: This usually means that a subcutaneous nerve is being compressed. One common example is a condition called meralgia paresthetic, which usually affects from the anterior lower lateral abdomen down to the thigh and/or groin. Other causes would include chemical burns (from topical medications or otc products) or sunburn.
