A member asked:

How come everything looks reddish after i go inside after being in the sun for a long time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Color contrast: Sunlight is richest in the green spectral domain. Prolonged exposure will saturate those receptors more. When you go inside, until the green receptors regenerate, for a few moments you will notice a red cast to objects viewed away from the sun. Also indoor light sources may have a reddish spectral spectrum which enhances the red color.
