A member asked:

Want to die, but not depressed, so is there a medical term or condition that causes this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Oxymoron: This view appears to be a contradiction. An evaluation with a psychiatrist or psychologist would provide an opportunity to explore what is behind this desire. With so little information it is impossible to explain a cause for this. Why would a person want to trade the known (which he or she is perfectly happy with) for the unknown? Why would a person want to make this sacrifice? Talk to your doc!
