What does it mean if your temp is and up and down fever? is that serious?

Not necessarily: Fluctuations in temperature are normal. Our basal body temperature is highest in the early evening. It's natural for fever to fluctuate with the rythmn of our basal body temperature as well as fluctuating based on the duration of action of fever reducing meds one might take.
