Not Normal: This is a significant fever that is being caused by some kind of infection. Since has been going on for a few days, you should be seen. The achy feeling is related to the fever and whatever is causing the fever. There could be multiple causes and without knowing other symptoms, it is hard to say what is the underlying cause of the fever.

??? Influenza ???: Your symptoms are highly suggestive of a influenza infection. Rest, drink fluids, watch your body for worsening signs of illness, particularly shortness of breath. A nasal swab can confirm the flu. Tamiflu is sold as a drug to help, but studies show it only shortens symptoms by an average of 21 hrs, (6 days instead of 7). IMHO, save your money, rest avoid spreading to other people and wait it out.

Viral infection: You appear to have a viral infection, with fever, myalgias (muscle pain) and arthralgias (joint pain). Get plenty rest, liquids. It needs to run its course, usually 3-5 days, but may be longer. Report problems to your clinician, to be sure you don't get pneumonia or other more extensive infection that wold require antibiotics. Hope that helps.
