Maybe: Your usual body temp is still considered normal. Body temp is different when checked rectally, by mouth, in the ear, or the forehead. If you think you are ill drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration and depending on your symptoms see your doctor. If you catch the flu and see a doctor with in 2 days the tamiflu (oseltamivir) works.

Recently recovered from diverticulitis 2 weeks ago but since getting it 5 weeks ago everyday starting at 12pm I start running an elev temp of 99-99.8 until about 8:30pm then it goes back to normal without any fever reducers. What could cause this?
