Depends: It depends on how severe the break is. If the toe is very crooked it may need to be reset. Otherwise just immobilize it and it should heal fine. If the break goes into a joint it will create an arthritic issue for you.

Depends: If the toe is in good alignment and does not look deformed it is probably fine. If it looks deformed it could compromise the circulation and cause problems.
