Different: They used to have ivory. Porcelain was used a lot and it was great but expensive. Most are now very hard acrylic polymers and ceramics.

Plastic / Porcelain: Denture teeth are typically made of a hard type of plastic material. Additionally, though less common, they can be made from porcelain. The 'gum' portion is usually made out of acrylic. However, there are different plastics which can be used for this part as well, especially if you happen to have a sensitivity to acrylics.
