What is mental health residential care and what is it used for?

Residental: Rtc centers are facilities for patients needing longer stay, having been in outpatient & acute facilities in the past with no benefits. Our facility treats adolescents with various mental health & substance abuse issues, with each youngster assigned a team consisting of a board-certified psychiatrist, nurses, nurse practitioner, counselors & recreational/art therapists. They also attend school.
