Panic: Panic attacks are treated outpatient, unless person becomes suicidal/homicidal from other illness.

It usually does not: take long before the doctors at ER room at hospitals realize that panic attacks are not heart attacks and refer people to see a psychologist to work on overcoming panic attacks. Once it is clear that there is no medical danger it is not necessary to go to the hospital.
