Right away: Hyperthyroidism can cause cardiac arrhythmia or irregular heart rhythm so it can affect your heart right away. It can also cause tremor, shaking, weight loss, sweating, fatigue, exhaustion...Most of these symptoms can occur right when you become hyperthyroid.
