Not related: While patients may experience varying degrees of hypersensitivity , particularly of the nipple in the immediate post operative period, hypersensitivity to touch should not be related to the presence of the implant unless complicated by migration into the axilla.

Possible: If someone is very flat and gets a large implant, the nerves get stretched for sometime and the nipple sensation may be more or less for sometimes after surgery, but it usually comes back to normal in a few months.
