See below.: Possible tests are endoscopy and biopsy. Some chest pain may warrant an EKG (cardiogram) to rule out heart disease. Possible labwork, looking for the cause or consequences can include a blood count, electrolyte levels, pancreatic enzymes. A test for H. Pylori, should be considered, since this bacteria can cause symptoms and can be treated.
