During 24 hr ph test, are you supposed to eat foods that trigger your gerd symptoms? i read that you are but got no instructions on this.

Ph test: My understanding is that during a 24 hour ph test you are supposed to eat meals and continue normal activity. I think it would be helpful to eat foods which trigger your gerd during monitoring especially if previous tests like a barium swallow or gastroscopy failed to demonstrate a reflux disorder.
