Echocardiogram results normal. but when he listens he hears murmur. whats up?

Echo: You were probably referred for an echo upon your physician hearing the murmur - if echo demonstrates normal cardiac structure and function, the murmur is what we refer to as an "innocent murmur" - this means it is being caused just by hearing the normal sound of blood going through the heart. Discuss your concerns/questions with your cardiologist.
