Yes there can be: Acid reflux could be due to inadequate digestion, especially low stomach acid. Stomach cells require energy to make enough stomach acid, and if one is hypothyroid and has adrenal fatigue, the stomach cells may not quite be able to make enough acid. Consider betaine hcl in the middle of the meal as a short term solution.
