What is the movement limit with a transfemoral prosthetic?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unsure: I am unsure what you mean by movement limit. A transfemoral or above knee amputation with prosthesis will allow for normal range of motion through your native hip and prosthetic knee. The most recognizable difference for you will be the increased energy expenditures needed for ambulation.
