Hi, years ago my thumb got twisted and since then there is gap in my mcp joint, i can see it clearly when i close my thumb. there is no problem in movements but it hurts a little when i try to push it to limits. can such old injuries be healed ?

If this happened years ago, then this is how it will stay forever without outside intervention with a surgery. If it interferes with your life, then get seen by orthopedics.
