A member asked:

What can they do to repair torn tendons in my foot?

Many ways: It really depends on which tendon, and how bad the tear is. Sometimes, the 2 ends can be sewn together, other times the tendon can be shredded and the surgeon must find an alternative. There are many options, but it all depends on which tendon we are talking about.

Surgery or casting: Depending on which tendons are torn, how long ago and the tendon position will determine if immobilization will work or if you need surgery.
