How do you make a cast for your ankle?

Don't try: If you have an injury that is serious enough for a cast, you need to have i evaluated. Some injuries need more than casting. Some injuries can lead o more serious problems if not treated timely or appropriately. See a doctor, it will probably be less expensive in the long run. Dr l.

Couple of ways: Most cast materials are synthetic or fiberglass, but could be made of plaster. The foot and ankle is wrapped with a padding material over a stockinette. The material is then rolled out around the foot and ankle in several layers.
