Is there a chance i could be unable to walk from degenerated achilles tendons?

Yes: If the tendon is degenerating then it could evenetually tear. The achilles tendon is a major tendon that helps in walking. You likely, even if the tendon tore would be able to walk but your walking will likely be altered in some capacity which could lead to other problems.

Difficult: Walking becomes difficult if the achilles tendons do not function properly since they are the main tendon of the foot that helps to stabilize the foot on the ground. Supportive braces may be necessary to help stabilize the foot.
