A member asked:

Is it possible to still have a gluten sensitivity even if your blood test comes back negative?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Which blood test?: Diagnosis of gluten sensitivity, celiac disease is only partly determined by blood tests and there are more than one type of tests for celiac disease. If a person is deficient in IgA and the test for IgA anti-tissue transglutaminase is negative, that would not be meaningful. It is best to discuss the tests in the clinical context with your doctor.
