Gold standart: The gold standard for diagnosis of celiac disease is small bowel biopsy. Of course all clinical information is important. I do not think it is any risk if you are going to try gluten free diet. Please, consider consultation with gastroenterologist.

Gluten free: Going gluten free has no real inherent risks beyond leading role to blindly purchasing gluten free foods that while they may bee gluten free may nonetheless be loaded with sugar, bad fats and other unhealthy aspects. I recommend you to be discerning about making sure what you eat is healthy. Stick with wholesome unprocessed foods such as meat, vegetables, fish and fruit.

Gluten Free: There is no risk to going Gluten free. It is possible to be Gluten intolerant and not have Celiac disease. I would recommend starting a food and symptom journal to document how symptoms are and if any other types of foods may be contributing.
