Hardly with: "normal" cough, if I am allowed to say such a thing. The residual capacity of the lungs has enough oxygen to maintain the hemoglobin saturation level. However, with advanced lung disease that might change and prolinged bouts of coghing could interfere with lungs ability to oxyginate blood. Hope that helps.
