Yes, but...: Yes, it's not contraindicated in this situation due to safety, but vaccines need to work by creating an immune response. If one is immunocompromised, then the shot likely will have no effect and not work at all as that immune response will fail to be generated. Depends: There are different hep a vaccines and some have different contraindications. Depending on your degree of immunocompromise, the vaccine may still be safe but also may be less effective.
