Does malnutrition cause someone to be immunocompromised and the covid-19 vaccine to not be effective?

How are you defining malnutrition ? At some point the lack of proper nutrient availability will lead to many body systems breaking down including the immune response to a vaccine. Being a bit underweight, or making poor dietary choices would not fit that definition.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. Your nutritional status notwithstanding, take the vaccine. It is highly unlikely that you so malnourished that you body will not make an immune response to the vaccine. Wish you good health!
